Virginia Heat Transfer provides on-site cleaning for all makes and models of plate heat exchanger. This process includes opening the unit, cleaning each plate individually, inspecting all gaskets and plates, replacing as necessary, and returning the unit to operation. This cleaning is designed to reduce pressure losses and restore heat transfer efficiency in the units.When it comes to your equipment, we understand the importance of communication. Virginia Heat Transfer routinely conducts heat exchanger audits for customers who have several plate heat exchangers on site. This allows us to communicate effectively and track our progress while we maintain your heat exchangers. This proven approach has shown to reduce downtime and reduce the costs associated with lost production.  When on site, we often conduct routine inspections of your plate heat exchangers during servicing to look for potential problems. Examples can include frame corrosion, excessive gasket wear, damaged plates, worn tightening hardware, and others.
